The staff at CCC really know their stuff! They were very friendly and accommodated me and my cat so well. The environment was very hospitable. Our nurse Ashlyn was very polite and Dr. Ambrielle was very kind and informative. They were so gentle with my cat and super professional. I knew we were in capable hands. Thank you!
Most wonderful place to get care for your cat. My cat was having issues and Dr. Edwards here at Cat Care Center was the only vet who could give a diagnosis and solution. Everyone who works here obviously loves cats and always treats my cat so well. However it's very pricey and I can't afford to get all my services done here. But going to CCC is usually worth the price to get care specialized for cats.
I am completely devastated by the lack of professionalism and communication at this facility.
I brought my cat in for lethargy, fever, vomiting, and diarrhea. The primary concern was a gastrointestinal illness, with a foreign body obstruction considered less likely. We were advised to admit him overnight for IV fluids.
What was most concerning was learning that there was no overnight nursing staff to monitor hospitalized patients. They started IV fluids before leaving, but my cat pulled out his IV catheter shortly afterward. As a result, he did not receive the overnight fluids that were the sole reason for his ICU admission.
The following day, I was called and advised to keep him for yet another night for IV fluids. As a physician myself, I was shocked that no veterinarian ever had a meaningful discussion with me about my cat's condition, assessment, or treatment plan. The only direct communication I received from the doctor was to inform me that the X-ray machine was down and that she was going to perform a thorough physical exam. Performing a physical exam before ordering diagnostics or treatment should be standard practice, not an exception.
To make matters worse, I was charged over $150 for sedation solely to place an IV catheter, yet my cat never received the overnight fluids I was paying for because the catheter came out and there was no staff available to replace it.
The lack of communication, inadequate overnight monitoring, and charges for care that was ultimately not provided made this an extremely disappointing experience. I hope the hospital addresses these issues so that future patients receive the level of care and transparency they deserve.
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience here. I have spent a significant amount of money at this clinic and trusted them with my cat’s care, especially because my cat has asthma and a heart murmur.
In the past, I have been able to send videos of my cat’s symptoms before visits so the doctors could better understand what was going on and advise whether the symptoms seemed urgent. When I tried to do that again, I was told by Megan that this policy had apparently ended only a week ago. When I asked whether she had checked with the doctors, she became rude and unprofessional. Instead of showing concern for my cat’s health or trying to help, I was made to feel like an inconvenience for asking questions.
As a pet owner, it is very upsetting to feel dismissed when you are worried about your animal’s safety. Compassion and communication should matter just as much as the money spent on visits, tests, and treatments. Unfortunately, this experience made me feel like money mattered more than my cat’s wellbeing.
Dr. Lacie and the other doctors may not be aware of how clients are being treated by staff, but I hope they take this seriously. As a business owner myself, I would want to know if an employee was causing loyal clients to lose trust in my business.
After this experience, and after reading other reviews with similar concerns about lack of compassion and poor communication, I no longer feel comfortable bringing my cat here. Send all of my records and looking for a clinic that treats both pets and their owners with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care.

Disgusting and unprofessional and rude!
Since moving to Baton Rouge from NOLA I struggled to find a vet that made me and my kitties feel comfortable and cared for. At the past vet in BR I felt like I always needed to advocate extra for my cats for my concerns to be heard. At CCC not only did I not need to advocate, but my concerns were taken seriously with a clear treatment plan in place. I really appreciate that CCC is a scruff free clinic and the staff handled my babies with so much intention and gentleness even if they were spicy. CCC is also aware of their pricing and I have always appreciated their transparency. They never sprung an unaffordable vet bill on me without outlining everything that went into their visit or future visits. The staff at CCC has always created a judgement free space and our tech, Skylar, specifically was and still is so knowledgeable, professional, empathetic, and kind.
